Important Objectives in Digital Marketing

0
Business objectives are specific, measurable, and time-bound goals that companies set for themselves in order to promote their products or services to potential and existing customers. These objectives are essential for businesses to achieve growth and success. 👊

By setting clear objectives, companies or even YOU can create a roadmap for achieving goals, and ensure that all marketing efforts are aligned with overall business strategy.

Effective business objectives should be realistic, relevant, and achievable within a specific timeframe, and should be regularly reviewed and adjusted as needed to ensure that they remain relevant and aligned with the company's evolving needs and priorities.

There are 3 KPIs that I'm going to discuss or share with you. These KPIs are a measurable value that shows how a business is achieving its objectives.

1. LEADS (Consumers)

This is important for branding, scales, and sales. It refers to the process of identifying and targeting potential customers who are most likely to purchase a company's products or services.

By understanding the needs, preferences, and behaviors of these consumers, you can tailor your marketing strategies, and product offerings to better meet the needs.

This approach can help companies or any business build brand loyalty, increase customer engagement, and boost sales. Therefore, it is IMPORTANT for companies to invest in LEADS (Consumers) to build a strong and sustainable business.

2. Clicks

These are traffic to the site, awareness of your content, and branding. Firstly, website traffic is a measure of the number of visitors who are accessing your website. I recommend investing your time using platforms that can provide accurate tracking of data.

DO NOTE, that there are still some factors you CANNOT CONTROL when tracking such as the following:

  • When it comes to counting page reloads and unique visitors, there is a difference between how an analytics platform and a browser do it. For example: Google counts every page reload, but a browser doesn't count reloads of cached pages (REMEMBER THIS).

This means that the number of unique visitors on a website may appear different depending on which method is used.

  • Analytics may only count visitors with JavaScript and cookies enabled. Some visitors might not allow cookies or JavaScript.

  • Customers can use browser extensions to block the Analytic platform or tool from tracking their sessions and purchases.
It is important to keep in mind that discrepancies are normal and expected. So, take a deep breath and know that everything is going to be alright. 😉

Secondly, content awareness refers to how well your audience is informed about the content you produce. This can also be checked through an analytics platform or reporting from the digital advertisement platform you use.

I highly recommend capturing leads and engaging with them using emails as well other than posting through your blog or advertisements.

Finally, branding is a measure of the overall observation that people have of your business, products, or services.

Keeping an eye on these three metrics will help you to improve your online presence and achieve your goals.

3. Sales

EVERYWHERE! In digital marketing, this is ONE of the most important KPIs, but of course, the other two that I shared above are all connected with this: More leads, more traffic connects to SALES.

These involve revenue profit, and increasing margins.

This is between "What a company pays for the products, and what it charges for the product". It applies to all company that buys and intent to sell it.

And that wraps it all! Let me know your thoughts and suggestions by leaving a comment below or sending me a message. Thank you so much for reading. Keep Safe!
